To Recreation permitting division: Every weekend for many years during organized sports, the same Green Ford Bronco drives into Russell Field on pedestrian paths (illegal), drives onto the few remaining grassy spots (illegal), and parks the SUV there for hours (illegal) until they decide to drive on walking paths from the park to the street (yes, illegal). It's so discouraging that the parks and police department can't protect this park from this nuisance to pedestrians, not to mention greenspace damage. Please put this on a routine Saturday monitoring schedule, and Sunday too -- and speak to the SUV owner. You've been notified of this same routine infraction before, with photos. The City's big investment in the baseball field rehab is not being matched with other ways to keep this pedestrian space used well by all. Thanks for your attention to it.
